The same six sounds for every player, and a new set once a day. You do not need an account to play, and there is nothing to install.
Every player who opens Today's Stage gets the same six sounds in the same order. The draw is locked to the date, so refreshing or replaying never changes the set. Only your best result of the day can join the Daily Challenge board, so replays can raise your standing but never lower it.
The set is drawn for the America/New_York day and rolls over at 8:00 AM Eastern. The panel above the stage shows today's date and a live countdown to the next set, so you know how much time is left.
Each day is hosted by one of ten themed Sound Worlds, from Meme Classics to Cosmic Radio. All six sounds come from that world, and the stage takes its colors. The host rotates daily, and today's host is shown in the stage panel.
A daily run is six rounds, and every round works the same way.
The reference plays a single time. Notice its overall shape before you record: where the melody rises and falls, and how the attacks are spaced. There is no replay in a scored run.
After a three-beep countdown you imitate the sound in one uninterrupted take. The recording window matches the reference length and stops on its own, and you cannot restart inside the window.
Your take plays back before any number appears. The verdict then lines up two waveforms, the reference on one lane and your recording on the other, so you can see where your shape matched.
All scoring runs in your browser. It compares the shape of your take with the reference and never tries to identify your voice.
The scorer compares relative melody, rhythm, attack timing, energy and texture, weighted by each sound's profile. You do not need perfect pitch. A score of 30 or more clears the round, and the daily challenge has no life system. Clear at least three of the six sounds to complete today's goal, and clear all six in one run to mark the day perfect.
Between rounds you pick the next route. Safe keeps the normal window and scores at face value. Risk shortens the window by 0.42 seconds and pays 1.5x. Focus aims the next sound at your weakest metric. Pressing Next round keeps the safe route.
Every third cleared round in a row adds 10 bonus party points, and a round under 30 resets the streak. On Meme Classics days, takes of 75 or better earn another 10. Party points add up across the six rounds of one run.
If a recording is too short, too quiet, clipped, or buried in noise, you get no score. The game tells you what went wrong and lets you retry the same sound for free. One Encore per run also lets you re-sing a low score.
Recording, playback and scoring all happen inside your browser. The microphone is requested only when you start a round, the audio is analyzed locally and released when the session ends, and nothing is uploaded. The daily challenge is free and works the same without an account. Close the tab and the run is gone. The only score that ever leaves this device is a finished Survival or Daily Challenge run, and it carries just three things: your chosen name (or a masked IP), your country, and your party points for the day's boards.
Yes. The six sounds are drawn from the day's host Sound World using the date as the seed, so every player faces the same set in the same order until the next reset.
As many times as you like. Each replay restarts the six-round run from zero party points, and only your best result of the day can join the Daily Challenge board.
The stage rolls to a new host Sound World with six new sounds. The countdown in the stage panel shows exactly when the switch happens.
The recording was too short, too quiet, clipped, or too noisy for a fair comparison. The game tells you which problem it hit and lets you retry the same sound for free.

The main stage has the 50-sound Survival challenge and a quick four-round game, both with ten themed sound packs to choose from.
